Since its construction, the reservoir has been facing the threat of eutrophication due to reasons like silting, water level fluctuations, and human activities, especially the growth and reproduction of planktonic algae. This study aims to explore the causes and mechanisms of reservoir eutrophication by studying the community structure and dynamic changes of planktonic algae in the Three Gorges Reservoir, and to provide scientific evidence for reservoir management and protection.This study employs two methods of field investigation and laboratory analysis to study the community structure and dynamic changes of planktonic algae in the Three Gorges Reservoir.
