The experimental results show that the duration of whitening treatment has significant implications for both the effectiveness of whitening and the health of enamel. With shorter treatment times, the whitening effect is less pronounced, and the demineralization of enamel is less severe. However, longer treatment times result in greater whitening effects, but also stronger demineralization of enamel that can lead to damage. Thus, a balance must be sought between whitening effectiveness and protection of enamel when choosing the optimal duration of treatment.【Key words】Whitening, treatment time, whitening effect, enamel.
