This paper explores the role and significance of Chinese mythology in early childhood education from the perspective of constructing a mythical curriculum in kindergarten. Firstly, this paper introduces the development history and cultural characteristics of Chinese mythology, including the types, themes, forms, and artistic expressions of myths. Secondly, it analyzes the positive influences of Chinese mythology on children's growth, such as inspiring imagination, cultivating emotional attitudes, and developing good behavior habits. In addition, this paper also explores the implementation methods and strategies of mythical curriculums in kindergarten education, including story explanations, picture appreciation, and role-playing.Finally, this paper proposes some preliminary considerations for constructing a mythical curriculum in kindergarten, such as the selection of the myth contents, the determination of curriculum objectives, the design of teaching methods, and the establishment of evaluation methods. This paper aims to provide some ideas and inspirations for research and practice in the mythical education for preschool children.【Keywords】Chinese mythology; early childhood education; mythical curriculum; teaching strategy.
