First, the basic structure and working principle of the hydroelectric generator set are introduced, as well as several commonly used methods for analyzing operational stability. Then, the shortcomings of existing methods are analyzed, and a new criterion is proposed. The criterion combines the characteristics of the generator set itself and the influence of external disturbances, and can more comprehensively evaluate the operational stability of the generator set.
