A randomized experimental design was used and 240 25-day-old laying ducklings were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups, including a control group and 3 different zinc level groups. The zinc content in the control group was 35mg/kg, while the zinc level groups were 70mg/kg, 140mg/kg and 280mg/kg, respectively. The experimental period was 6 weeks, and growth performance and biochemical indexes were measured once a week. The results showed that with the increase of zinc levels, the body weight, weight gain rate, feed conversion ratio, and growth hormone levels of the laying ducklings showed a gradual increase. At the same time, the levels of albumin, total protein, and alkaline phosphatase activity in the blood also increased with the increase of zinc levels, while the activity of alanine aminotransferase showed a gradual decrease.
