The particle count efficiency is an important performance measure for filter media. It is defined as the number of particles blocked by the filter media compared to the total number of particles in the air or water stream. The particle count efficiency of a filter media depends on various factors, including the fiber diameter, fiber morphology, filter thickness, and pore size distribution. In this study, we aim to investigate how particle count efficiency is affected by the pore size distribution of high efficiency fiber filter media.Research Objectives:1. To evaluate the particle count efficiency of high efficiency fiber filter media with different pore size distributions.2. To investigate the impact of fiber diameter and morphology on the particle count efficiency.3. To compare the performance of high efficiency fiber filter media with other types of filter media, such as membrane filters and granular filters.Methodology:In this study, we will use scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to examine the fiber morphology and pore size distribution of different high efficiency fiber filter media samples. We will also employ bench-scale filtration experiments to evaluate the particle count efficiency of these filter media.Firstly, we will prepare filter media samples with different pore size distributions by changing the process parameters, such as the blowing ratio and collection dista...
