Lead-in 1. 跟学生说最近想去看电影，向学生们介绍一些电影院，让学生帮助选择。 2. 向学生介绍本课时中的一些重要单词：comfortable seats, big screens, cheaply, close, worst，并学习这些新生词。 3. 学生们看幻灯片，并学习记忆这些生词。 II. Discussion 2 1. How do you choose which movie theater to go to? Write the things in the box under “Important” or “Unimportant” in 1a. 2. Ss discuss with their partners and write the words in the box in the chart. III. Listening 1. Tell Ss Sam’s pen pal Anna likes watching movies, too. Ann’s town has three movie theaters, they are Town Cinema, Screen City and Movie World. Ask them to read the sentences in the chart of 1b. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and match the statement with the right movie theaters. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 4.
