By reviewing and summarizing existing literature, this paper deeply analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the base station cooperation system, and explores solutions. First, the concept and characteristics of the 3GPPLTE system are introduced, and then the advantages of the base station cooperation system are analyzed in detail, including the improvement of system capacity and coverage area, the reduction of interference, and the improvement of channel quality and transmission rate. Then, the many challenges faced by the base station cooperation system in practical applications are analyzed, including the complexity of information exchange between base stations, the problem of multipath channel processing, and the increase of complexity. For these problems, this paper proposes two solutions, namely the protocol design solution to solve the information exchange problem and the algorithm improvement solution to solve the multipath channel processing problem.
