However, it grows slowly and is hard to obtain. Therefore, studying the chemical components of Cordyceps sinensis and exploring its biological functions become particularly important. In this project, we aim to analyze the chemical composition of two Cordyceps sinensis fungal strains and identify possible active components.In this study, we will use various spectroscopic techniques, including high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), mass spectrometry(MS), infrared spectroscopy(IR), and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) to analyze the chemical composition of the two strains. We will evaluate the biological activity of these compounds and compare the differences in chemical components between the two strains. We will discuss possible interactions between compounds, biosynthetic pathways, and pharmacologic effects to explore new drug development directions.Keywords: Cordyceps sinensis; fungi; chemical composition; active components; drug development.
