Through analyzing the development history and present situation of the domestic and international petroleum market and reserve policies, combined with the current situation in China, a series of suggestions and countermeasures are proposed.Firstly, this study analyzes the supply and demand situation of the international petroleum market and the reserve systems of major petroleum-importing countries, pointing out the impact and challenges of the international market and reserve policies on China's petroleum reserve construction.
