非线性光学和相关学科的进展在很大程度上得益于新型非线性光学材料的出现和应用。近年来,非线性光学材料的进展非常迅速,除常规的宏观体块材料外,微结构的引入使得非线性光学材料的范围拓展到了纳米材料,而超材料的出现更是为非线性光学材料的进展带来了新的契机。本文在宏观体块材料方面介绍了几类综合性能好的新型无机、有机非线性光学材料;在微结构非线性光学材料方面概述了光学超晶格等在设计方法上的进展,介绍了几种新型微结构材料的功能及实验结果,讨论了微结构对光学非线性的增强及应用价值;超材料方面,着重叙述了对超材料的非线性光学效应的讨论近况,评述了超材料对光学非线性的放大机制和应用前景。关键词:非线性光学材料无机有机微结构超材料by ABSTRACTThe discovery of new nonlinear optical material plays the very important role in the history of nonlinear optics (NLO). This thesis summarized the present research status of nonlinear optical materials. Part of the novel inorganic and organic NLO materials have been reviewed, including the nonlinear optical properties and other features. With the development of nano-photonics, the NLO materials with ordered microstructures have made remarkable progresses .The recent revolutionary discovery of the meta-materialswhich can enhancethe nonlinear optic effects by several million times is also discussed.
