This paper mainly explores the dynamic characteristics of gantry machining centers and carries out experimental research.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic structure and working principle of the gantry machining center, and then analyzes its dynamic characteristics. On this basis, a dynamic characteristics testing experimental platform of gantry machining center is designed and built, and a series of experimental researches are conducted. The experimental results show that there are certain vibrations and deformations in the gantry machining center during the processing, and the occurrence frequency is related to the processing parameters and cutting force.
