Let’s learn1. 在“学校”图片中，教学新词 dining hall，grass，gym。教师进行板书并教读，同时告诉学生 grass 为不可数名词。Chant：Grass, grass. Play football on the grass. / Dining hall, dining hall. Have lunch in the dining hall. / Gym, gym. Play basketball in the gym.2. 教学单词 ago 及词组“... years ago, ... months ago”。通过询问“Was there a dining hall in your school ... years/months ago?”板书并教读单词及词组，让学生说出意思，并利用该结构询问其他事物。3. 教师用课件呈现本部分重点单词及词组，看看谁能又快又准地说出其意思。4. 单词竞赛（三分钟速记）：对教师出示的建筑类单词或短语进行速记，看谁记得多。5. 教师用课件呈现新旧学校两幅图，通过“What are the differences?”引导教学本课重难点句子：There was no gym in my school twenty years ago.板书并教读“There was/were ... years/months ago/last year/month. There is/are ... now.”指导学生注意观察、比较和总结。6. 播放动画视频，学生仿读。A. Find the mistakes1. 用课件呈现课本图片，师生一起观察图片，读一读词汇，看看图片中都有哪些场所。2. 学生完“大家来找茬”游戏，完成 Find the mistakes 部分的课堂活动。学生先自己读一读 Sarah 的描述，然后小组合作找出错误的地方。3. 鼓励小组代表上台仿照 Sarah 的描述进行描述，教师予以适当指导。4. 教师播放动画视频，汇总并陈述正确、完整的答案。Step 3 Summary1. 师生回顾小结本课时所学的重点句型。2. Let’s say：学生用重点句型对学校进行描述。Step 4 Exercise教师通过当堂练习，让学生巩固并掌握本课时重点知识。Step 5 Homework1. 朗读并抄写 Let’s learn 部分的词汇。2. 写一写自己的学校的今昔对比。
