高中英语口语活动创新课例学习外语的目的并不仅仅是为了阅读文献或翻译外语资料,还要进行面对面的交流。随着国际交流日益频繁,口语的重要性日益显著。为了适应这一潮流,在课堂中,创设学生感兴趣的语言环境,设计学生感兴趣的口语活动,是十分必要的。笔者在多年的课堂教学过程中,偶尔突发奇想,创造了几则口语练习的课例。现将具体课例介绍如下,与同行共享。一、即兴辩论辩论是学生喜欢的课堂活动形式,在课堂上开展辩论活动不仅能帮助学生应用所学的语言知识,还能活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的学习热情,例如,《普通高中课程标准实验教科书》最新版本英语必修1Unit4Earthquakes第一课时Pre-reading第一题Imagingeyourhomebeginstoshakeandyoumustleaveitrightaway.Youhavetimetotakeonlyonething.Whatwillyoutake?Why?这样问答未免太过复杂,笔者灵机一动,干脆改为Therearetwothingsnearyou.Youhavetimetotakeonlyonething.Whichonewillyoutake,foodormoney?ThenItellthemtoargueinclass,girlsastheprosandboysasthecons.Thepros:Iwillchoosetotakefoodbecauseatthattimenostoresareopen,youcan'tbuyanyfoodevenifyouhavemoney,andyouwillstarvetodeath.Thecons:Iwilltakemoneybecausefoodisheavierthanmoney.Maybeyouwillrunslowerandyouwillbeburiedtodeath.Thepros:Indangerman'spowerisendless.wecanrunasfastaspossible.Thenwe'llescapefromdeath.Thecons:BecauseIhavealotofmoney,noonewillignoreme,thentheywillgivemesomefood..Thepros:Atthattimemoneyisuseless,everyoneishungry.Iftheyhavesomefood,theymustgiveittotheirdearonesortheirrelatives.Theycan'tsaveastrangericher.由于是自由辩论,课堂上气氛很活跃。男孩子好胜心强,所以争先恐后起来辩论。女孩子也个个是巾帼英雄,不让须眉男子,口中振振有词,把男孩们说得哑口无言,最后是女方赢得比赛。二、记者采访教学有关新闻报道类或科幻类文章时,教师可以组织学生开展记者采访活动。在采访活动中,教师应鼓励学生提出一些富有新意和具有一定深度的问题。这不仅能充分调动学生学习的积极性,还能培养学生的想象力和创造力。例如,在人民教育出版社最新出版的普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语必修5Unit3Lifeinthefuture第六课时口语课中,其中有一题Imaginewhatlifewillbelikeinyourhometowninonethousandyears.我设计成一个现代记者去采访1000年后的未来人的场景(记者出现,手中拿着话筒,在教室里穿梭提问)[Reporter__RFutureman__Fm]AninterviewTeacher:LiYang,areporterhascomeonamagicaljourneyonOctober10,3007tofindoutaboutthefuturelife.Heisnowinterviewingsomefuturemen.Li:Hello!Futureman.Nicetomeetyou!Iwonderthatyourlifemustbeunimaginableandquitedifferentfromours.CanIaskyousomequestions?Fm1:Ofcourse.Li:Whatisitlikeinsideyourhouse?Fm1:Ourlifeisveryconvinent.Weneedn'tgoshoppinginthemarketandcookfoodathomebecauseeverythingisoperatedbycomputer.Futhermore,therobotcandootherhouseworksuchaswashingclothes,washingdishes,makingthebedandcleaningthehouse.Li:Whataboutoutdoors?Fm2:Thereisaroboteveryonehundredmeterstocleantheroad.Soyouwillfinditverycleanwhereveryougo.Li:Howdoyoucureyourillness?Fm3:Weneedn'tgotothehospitaltoseeadoctor.Weputawireintothewallandthedoctorwillexamineusandsenddrugstoourhome.Li:Howdoyoutravel?Fm4:Wecantravelbypersonalflyingcarorbike.Wecanalsodriveacarthatcaneitherbedrivenontheroadorthroughthewaterlikeasurmarine.Besides,wecantakeaspaceshiptovisittheMars,themoonetc.在这次采访中,学生们个个思维活跃,充分发挥了他们的想象力。采访形式给学生提供了一定的思维空间,对中学的英语教学产生了积极的促进作用。三、TalkShow教师可以结合当前出现的新名词如绿色食品,引导学生讨论消费者更喜欢买绿色食品还是化学耕种生产的食品。并让学生以talkshow的形式分组汇报。这样的语言实践既可以帮助学生提高语言...
