The camera is mainly used to capture high-speed moving targets such as launching rockets and missiles, and can achieve high frame rate and high resolution. This paper elaborates on the hardware design of the camera, including the image sensor, clock control circuit, analog-to-digital converter, modulator, and data output circuit, etc.; and introduces the entire process of FPGA implementation, including the selection of FPGA chips, circuit design and programming. Finally, this paper tests the performance of the camera and obtains experimental results. The results indicate that the camera has excellent performance and can meet the requirements of high-speed shooting.Keywords: camera design; image sensor; FPGA programming; high-speed shooting
