However, the construction of subway tunnels poses a certain safety hazard to the stability of surrounding buildings. This paper aims to study the stability of the surrounding rocks of subway tunnels passing under buildings.Firstly, the literature review of the progress of relevant researches at home and abroad and influential factors of rock stability were summarized. Secondly, an experimental scheme was designed to conduct model tests. Based on the analysis of test results and combined with engineering practice data, the main influencing factors of rock stability when subway tunnels pass under buildings were obtained. Finally, corresponding measures and suggestions for rock stability problems were proposed based on the analysis results.Keywords: Subway Tunnel; Passing under Buildings; Rock Stability; Model Test; Safety Measures.
