The research questions mainly include: 1) the reasons for the selection and proportion changes of major asset categories in China's foreign exchange reserves; 2) the balance between the security and liquidity of China's foreign exchange reserves; 3) the possible adjustment strategies for China's foreign exchange reserve structure in the future.This paper will use literature review, empirical analysis and other methods to collect relevant data, analyze the evolution of China's foreign exchange reserve structure, explore the reasons for its changes, and analyze its balance between security and liquidity. Finally, based on the research results, this paper will propose possible adjustment strategies for the foreign exchange reserve structure, providing reference for the management of China's foreign exchange reserves.Keywords: foreign exchange reserves, structure selection, security, liquidity
