With the research methods of literature research, case analysis and expert interviews, this paper explores the types, causes and solutions of legal disputes in primary and secondary education. In the study, it was found that the legal disputes in primary and secondary education mainly include disputes in enrollment, teaching, management and services. The reasons mainly include the imperfect legal system, unclear rights and responsibilities between teachers and students, and poor school management. For the solution of legal disputes in primary and secondary education, it should start from regulating the rights and responsibilities of teachers and students, improving the legal system, and strengthening the school management, which can protect the rights and interests of teachers and students while maintaining the management order of schools.Keywords: primary and secondary education; legal disputes; solutions
