In this study, the candidate gene set approach will be used to explore the correlation between the IGF1-FoxO pathway and pig growth and development. Pigs will be used as the study objects, and key periods of growth and development will be selected for gene expression profiling analysis to screen for gene sets related to growth and development. Furthermore, gene-editing technology will be used to construct gene knockout pig models to verify the functions of the selected candidate gene sets. The results of this study are expected to provide new theoretical support for regulating the growth and development of pigs.Keywords: candidate gene set approach, IGF1-FoxO pathway, pig, growth and development, gene editing technology.
