This paper starts with the characteristics and applications of high viscosity matrix asphalt and mixtures, conducts a literature review, and proposes research questions, research purposes, and research methods. Then, from the three aspects of basic properties, test methods, and test results of high viscosity matrix asphalt and mixtures, the content and steps of the experimental research are detailed.
