However, in recent years, due to the further diversification of Japan's vegetable importing countries, the increasing interfering factors concerning China's vegetable exports, and the disadvantages of low industrialization level and imperfect product quality, the competitiveness has been challenged. Therefore, thorough analysis is needed to help enhance the competitiveness of vegetables export to Japan.This thesis first conducts a comprehensive study of Japan’s agriculture sector. By taking into consideration China’s past and current vegetable exports to Japan, it summarizes China’s exporting advantages and disadvantages. Enlightened by the above-mentioned study, some suggestions are put forward in the end, aiming to improve China’s vegetable exporting competitiveness to Japan.
