This paper intends to take the typical area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as the research object, and explore its application and significance in environmental research through the collection, analysis and interpretation of snow and ice heavy metals. The results show that the heavy metal content in the snow and ice in the typical area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau varies seasonally, and the aerosol pollution is the main reason for the increase in heavy metal content in the snow and ice. In addition, the heavy metal elements in the snow and ice can serve as indicators of environmental pollutants, providing an important reference for the protection and research of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem.Keywords:Qinghai-Tibet Plateau; Snow and Ice; Heavy Metals; Environmental Record; Ecosystem Protection
