The data collection methods will involve a questionnaire survey, a writing task analysis, and individual interviews. The data analysis will be conducted both qualitatively and quantitatively.Expected Results:The expected results will reveal the main instances of negative mother tongue transfer in high school students' English written expression, the causes of the negative transfer, and effective teaching strategies to minimize the negative transfer.
