The knowledge of the pVT properties of fluids at high pressures is crucial for the design and operation of numerous industrial processes, such as deep-sea drilling, carbon capture and storage, and supercritical fluid extraction. Additionally, the phase behavior of binary systems under high pressures is essential in the development of separation processes, many of which rely on the use of high-pressure distillation, extraction, or absorption. Objectives:The objective of this research is to investigate the pVT properties of single-component fluids under high pressures and the phase equilibrium of binary systems. In particular, the study aims to determine the effect of pressure on the compressibility and thermal expansion of fluids, as well as to identify the behavior of the critical region near the vapor-liquid critical point. The research also intends to investigate the phase behavior of binary systems under various temperatures and pressures and to develop a theoretical framework for predicting phase behavior under extreme conditions.Methodology:The study will be conducted using a combination of experimental and theoretical methods. The high-pressure viscometer and densimeter will be used to measure the pVT properties of single-component fluids at pressures up to 100 MPa and temperatures up to 573 K. The phase behavior of binary systems will be investigated...
